My dad's military ribbons & medals

My dad served in the U.S. Air Force for 20+ years & retired honorably as a Master Sergeant. My family decided that he should be buried in his full military uniform with his ribbons on his jacket & medals displayed in his coffin.
My dad's ribbons awarded over his 20+ year career in the Air Force.
Some of my dad's military medals.

A very nice group of medals & ribbons.
Do you know what he was awarded the Bronze Star for?
I would just like to point out if I may that the oak leaf clusters on the ribbons are upsidedown!

In case you were wondering. (I had to do the same thing with my grandfather's ribbons. He will won't tell us what they all are, and insists that the Air Force will give you a ribbon for just shining your shoes right.)

This is really impressive. I particularly enjoyed reading your comment explaining how he got each of his military ribbons and medals. My dad was in the military as well, and when he was buried he received the salute. I don't remember anything about his medals or ribbons (I was really young when he passed), but I do remember that.
